Our journey began in Watertown, MA with our dedicated founder, Fei, and has since flourished in the inviting community of Oak Hill in Newton, MA. Positioned conveniently near Route 9 and the Chestnut Hill area, our day care offers a safe, welcoming, and accessible environment for all families.
At Little Pandas, we embrace the unique backgrounds of our little adventurers, providing a colorful array of activities that promote creativity, bilingual communication in English and Chinese, and holistic development. Under the loving and experienced guidance of Fei, each day unfolds with exciting, interactive learning experiences, from captivating storytelling and creative arts and crafts to lively outdoor play and musical fun.

Our Founder
Born and raised in Huzhou, China, Zhifen Fei has been working in early childhood education for over four decades. A natural teacher, she holds degrees from Zhejiang Normal University and Hangzhou Education College, as well as furthering her education at Harvard Extension School and Aquinas College. Fei started her career as a kindergarten teacher at Anjilu Experimental School in Hangzhou, China, where she also specialized in music education. She founded Little Pandas Home Daycare in 1994 and has lovingly cared for dozens of children since.
At the core of Fei's educational philosophy is a profound belief in the transformative power of a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. She advocates for a balanced approach that fosters emotional, social, intellectual, and linguistic development, preparing children not just for school, but for life. Fei envisions Little Pandas as a place where every child is cherished, every voice is heard, and every potential is nurtured.
